People walk into our store to become inspired. Harper's has walls filled with color, design and combination's of beautiful fabrics. Because we know all of you cannot come into our store, we are, for the first time, bringing it to you. On-line we can now share our versions of the designs in kits for you to have a piece of Harper's style. Now you can create the same inspired feeling in your own sewing room.

Our kits look even better in person than our online pictures, so if you can, come and visit our "Top Ten Shop" (designated by "Quilt Sampler" magazine Fall/Winter 2008) when you are in the neighborhood.

Preventing "Waviness" in Quilt Borders

To help prevent "waviness" in your quilt borders, follow this guideline. When measuring for borders on your quilt, always measure from the center of the quilt across from side to side and from top to bottom, not along the outside edges. Cut your border pieces this measurement and ease any difference into the quilt when sewing the borders on.
